    Naming the Business

    The next step would be to fix a name for the proprietorship. The proposed name needs to be searched in the trademark registry to avoid any infringements.

    Bank Account

    Open a bank account and submit identity and address proofs.

    GST

    Registering a GST number is mandatory if the income is more than Rs. 10 lacs per year. This GST number is also required at the bank.

    TAN Number

    TAN is a number allocated to a business that complies with the provisions of withholding tax.

    PAN Number
